Darren Till scored a second-round TKO in his pro boxing debut—and then an all-out brawl broke out in the middle of the ring.

Till, who made a name for himself inside the Octagon before stepping away from the promotion in 2023, stepped inside the squared circle for the first time as part of the Social Knockout 3 event in Dubai. There, Till squared off with Mohammad Mutie, a Palestinian fighter with a 2-2-1 record in MMA.

After a relatively uneventful opening round, things took a turn in the second when Till landed a glancing rabbit punch to the back of Mutie’s head.

It was an undeniably harmless shot, but Till’s opponent immediately protested, grabbing the back of his head before laying down on the canvas as though he were in serious pain.

Unfortunately, the referee wasn’t buying it.

With Mutie claiming he could not continue, Till was awarded the fight via technical knockout due to injury. That didn’t sit well with Mutie who immediately exchanged words with ‘The Gorilla’ before instigating an all-out brawl.

Darren Till Addresses the Crowd During Impromptu Brawl

Till addressed all the chaos in a post-fight interview, saying:

“This is fighting, you get hit,” Till said after the brawl. “If you don’t wanna continue fighting, don’t be a fighter. He’s not a fighter. He’s not a real fighter. He’s a coward. And then, when I’m minding my own business, he comes and attack me.

“I’m so sorry. I’m not that guy. I’m a respectful guy. I love this sport. l love Dubai. I’ve been coming here since 2016 so I do want to apologize but I was standing there minding my own business and he came over to attack me with his team. I’ve got to defend myself. I’m really sorry about that guys.”

Till also called out Jake Paul, Tommy Fury, and Mike Perry, calling all three of them “scared cowards” and declaring his intent to “f*cking decapitate them.”
