  • Jon Jones was happy to see Logan Paul beat Dillon Danis
  • Jorge Masvidal was left gutted by the Paul vs. Danis boxing match

Unsurprisingly, Logan Paul’s unique win over Dillon Danis made waves in the world of combat sports, particularly in MMA. Big-name UFC stars such as Jon Jones and Jorge Masvidal tuned in on the fight and came up with an opposite take on the matter.

Jones thanked the Pauls

On his Instagram story, the reigning UFC heavyweight champion officially gave Logan and Jake Paul the props for backing up all the talking they did. Sharing a screenshot of Logan’s knockdown on Danis, Jones thanked the Pauls, especially Logan for putting “El Jefe” in his place.

For context, “Bones” and Danis had a feud several years ago. The beef started when “El Jefe” called Jones a “b***h” during a post-fight promo.

Jorge was fuming

Unlike Jones, Masvidal did not like the entire Paul vs. Danis boxing match at all. In a short yet straightforward tweet, “Gamebred” expressed his disgust towards what Paul and Danis did.

“This a disgrace to boxing,” Masvidal wrote.

As most can recall, Masvidal doesn’t see eye to eye with Logan’s brother Jake. In fact, “Gamebred” and “The Problem Child” almost had an altercation in Miami ahead of Jake’s boxing match with Nate Diaz.

As for Logan, he is certain boxing is not his priority at this point as he has already planned a return to WWE. However, Logan said that he would be open to boxing Conor McGregor perhaps next year.
