Jake Paul and Jorge Masvidal met up in Miami in an awkward scene at Paul’s Betr warehouse.

In the world of celebrity boxing, it seems as though the drama leading up to the fight is almost more entertaining than the fights themselves. Jake Paul is one of the most notorious celebrity boxers out there right now. He rose to stardom in the world of boxing by taking on former UFC and MMA champions inside the boxing ring. He defeated the likes of Anderson Silva, Tyron Woodley, and Ben Askren. Now he has his next UFC fighter all lined up in Nate Diaz. That fight will be taking place in August but now Paul has found himself face-to-face with another retired UFC fighter, Jorge Masvidal.

Masvidal retired from the UFC earlier this year. He has not mentioned what his next plans will be although he is currently running a few fight promotions himself. He is known as the king of Miami in the fight world and he did not take kindly to “The Problem Child” being in his territory.

Jake Paul and Jorge Masvidal come to a near altercation in Miami.

Paul was in Miami in the warehouse of his company Betr getting ready to film an episode of his show BS with Jake Paul when he had a drop-in from the former BMF champion.

In their confrontation, Paul asked Masvidal what he was doing there. Then he said something about it being Miami and that Paul was trespassing on private property. That’s when Paul accused him of calling him names on a podcast hosted by Ariel Helwani. Later it was shown that Masvidal came into the building and will now be a guest on Jake Paul’s podcast episode dropping on a Thursday.

Paul and Masvidal have gone back and forth in the past about fighting each other. At the time Masvidal was still under the UFC contract and UFC president Dana White said that there is no way he would let that happen. However, now Masvidal is free to do as he pleases, and perhaps if Paul can get past Nate Diaz he might want to set something up with Masvidal in the future.
