Jake Paul’s head coach BJ Flores was robbed at gunpoint and shot in the leg in Colombia.

Flores took to social media early Friday morning to reveal he was stopped at a red light in Medellin, Colombia where someone put a gun to his temple to rob him. Flores said he was able to the gun away from his head but the criminal shot him in the leg which forced Paul’s head coach to be rushed to the hospital to get the bullet removed from his leg.

“Tonight I was attacked by 2 armed motorcycle drivers as a passenger at a RED LIGHT. They pulled up, stuck a gun to my head, tried to steal my wallet and my watch. They shot me one time in the leg and I defended myself the best way I could . I am still in the emergency room waiting to have the bullet removed at 5:18 am. Thank you for the well wishes . I will learn from this….. Be safe out there please. Life is precious, I love you all,” Flores wrote on Instagram.

Flores Claims it Was a Targeted Robbery

BJ Flores also showed off his wounds where the pistol was held to his head and the robbers asked for his watch and wallet.

“What’s up guys, first of all, appreciate the messages, thank you so much. See where the pistol was held right there, that’s when they came to the car and put the pistol right there,” Flores said in a Twitter video. “Crazy. I don’t know what to say, pistol was right there yelling at me to get my wallet, my watch, everything. We were definitely targeted, they couldn’t have possibly seen my watch when I was sitting in the passenger seat on my left hand. We were definitely targeted. It is what it is, I’m still alive, everything’s good, I’m happy, the doctors came in and told me we got surgery coming up now. I’ll be in under for maybe an hour, hopefully, less and get this thing out quick.”

As of right now, it’s uncertain if the robbers got away or were arrested, but the good news is the fact that Flores and everyone will be okay.

Jake Paul, meanwhile, has yet to comment on his coach being robbed at gunpoint, but it is likely he will at some point.
