Canelo Alvarez suffered his first loss since 2013. And of course, Jake Paul had something to say about it.
Boxing’s pound-for-pound best would lose a dominant decision to Dmitry Bivol on Saturday. Bivol would put simply put on a showcase and win the fight over the distance.
Paul Claims He’ll Beat Canelo In 3 Years
While this only marks Canelo’s second loss as a pro, ‘The Problem Child’ thinks he would pose a problem to Canelo in due time.
Paul would also congratulate Bivol on beating Canelo, something that is very rare in the sport of boxing.
“And just like that, Canelo Alvarez loses to Dmitry Bivol,” Paul said in a video. “Amazing fight by Bivol. I’m two inches bigger than Bivol, twenty lbs heavier. Give me three years, I take out Canelo in the same way.
“He’s on the ropes like he won. He only won three rounds out of the whole entire fight. Eddie Hearn, f*ck you, you can suck my d*ck. I’m coming, I’m beating Canelo in three f*cking years. I put that on my momma.
“Congrats Dmitry Bivol.”

While Jake Paul’s record is still small at 5-0, his dreams are big. He has made it no secret that he wants to fight Canelo Alvarez in the future. But, that’s a massive IF.
As far as his short-term goals go, Paul will return to the boxing ring this August, where he will look to stay undefeated.
