Jake Paul Calls Out KSI For Short-Notice Bout, Blasts Fellow YouTuber For Picking Swarmz Over Tyron Woodley

Jake Paul vs. KSI is possible but probably not ASAP.

  • KSI agrees but wants him and his fellow YouTube star to prep things up properly
  • “The Problem Child” concluded that KSI ducked him

With Hasim Rahman Jr. seemingly already out of the picture, Jake Paul has now set his sights on his fellow YouTuber-turned-boxer KSI, the same fighter who beat his older brother Logan.

While the fight seems to make sense, KSI has laid out one condition.

Paul wants KSI

On Saturday, Paul laid out his proposal to KSI, whose upcoming fight was also cancelled due to a concussion suffered by his opponent Alex Wassabi.

“The Problem Child” referred to KSI as the “A-Side” in the scenario and he wants the fight to take place sooner rather than later, on Aug. 27 to be exact.

“Heard that Alex is out because of a concussion. F***** up. This was a big opportunity for Alex. He will be back,” Paul wrote on Twitter. “KSI… everything happens for a reason. I’ll come fight in your hometown. Your boxing company. You are A-Side. I also agree to make 180 pounds for August 27. You accept?”

As expected, Paul hit KSI with his signature trash talks, adding that his co-YouTube star is now “scrambling” to come up with an epic response to his bold call-out.

“Prediction of reply from KSI: I accept, hahahah, I will f*** up Jake Paul, hahahaha. He needs me, hahahaha,” Paul tweeted. “BUT my team told me I should wait to make this a big event. Blah blah blah.

He added, “KSI and the little misfits are scrambling trying to figure out the perfect response.”

Paul even upped the ante when he went on and claimed that his manager told him KSI would be happy to oblige but only if “The Problem Child” will agree to fight “for free,” something that doesn’t bother Paul.

“My manager just told me KSI is down but only if I fight him for free and he keeps all the revenue. That’s what they offering… I said hurry the fuck up and send me the contract.”

The real response

Indeed, KSI has no problem scrapping his Paul. However, he made it clear that he wants it well-prepared so there will “no excuses” and not all “this short notice s***.”

“We will fight on my terms and when we do, it’ll be done on the biggest stage,” KSI wrote. “I’m talking Wembley stadium fam. With a full camp tailored just for you and I, so that there are no excuses when we fight. None of this short notice s*** Jake Paul.”

KSI continued, “I will honor my word to my fans and to my opponent because my word means something unlike yours. The show will go on on August 27th and you or MVP won’t have a thing to do with it. Enjoy your night out buddy.”

Paul, on the other hand, wasn’t buying any of KSI’s explanation. Instead, he ended the exchange with another bold statement, stressing that KSI had just ducked him.

“THIS IS OFFICIALLY THE BIGGEST DUCK OF ALL TIME,” Paul tweeted in response to KSI.

KSI discrediting Paul’s achievement?

Amid the hoopla, KSI said Paul beat a “past his prime Woodley” on a short notice. Paul clapped back and stressed that KSI was just trying to discredit Tyron Woodley.

More importantly, “The Problem Child” swore that KSI wouldn’t do the same thing he did and will never fight the “old UFC guy” on short notice, strongly suggesting that it’s the reason why he picked British rapper “Swarmz” to be his replacement opponent instead of calling out Woodley, who has been down for it.

“KSI just tweeted me for fighting Tyron Woodley at three weeks’ notice, basically saying he’s an old UFC guy, trying to discredit my opponent,” Paul said in a recent Twitter video. “But KSI, I guarantee you would never fight Tyron Woodley, and he’s ready to step in and fight you at three week’s notice.”

“So if he’s just some old UFC guy you’re trying to discredit, why not fight him instead of some no-name opponent you’re about to put in? Because you won’t do it.”

Paul and KSI have had quite an interesting history. On the night KSI beat Logan, Jake, meanwhile, outclassed KSI’s younger brother Deji Olatunji. In all fairness, Paul vs. KSI makes sense so let’s hope they can put this thing together.
