Floyd Mayweather vs. John Gotti III Bout Ends With Massive Brawl In The Ring And Backstage Following DQ

The exhibition bout between Floyd Mayweather and John Gotti III got out of control following a disqualification

Since retiring from boxing with a perfect 50-0 record, Floyd Mayweather is spending his time competing in exhibition mouths. He is known as one of the best fighters of all time and because of this reputation, many celebrity fighters want to get a piece of him. At 46-year-old Mayweather is taking the opportunity to make some money while not having to put his record on the line. He has fought some Youtubers and other celebrities such as Logan Paul, Aaron Chambers, and Tenshin Nasukawa. His latest venture was taking on the grandson of former notorious mobster John Gotti, John Gotti III.
 
This match took place in Sunrise Florida and was scheduled to be an eight-round exhibition bout. During round six Gotti III was disqualified for repeatedly grabbing Mayweather. Once the bout was deemed over by referee Kenny Bayless Gotti III did not accept the decision and decided to rush Mayweather. What resulted was an all-out merely between both fighters’ entourages.

The ring filled up with Mayweather and Gotti’s friends, family, and training partners. It was a chaotic scene that showed a lot of shoving and pushing. Eventually, they were all separated but that did not end the bad blood.

Backstage after the fight the tension continued and both teams got into a shoving match again. Gotti III is 30 years old and 2-0 as a professional fighter. Mayweather, the seasoned veteran, was showboating and having his way with Gotti III throughout the entirety of the bout. This angered Gotti III and he showed his frustrations after the DQ was handed out. No word from either camp has been expressed yet.
