Floyd Mayweather continued his exhibition tour on Saturday night, making his first stop of 2023 the O2 Arena in London.

‘Money’ stepped into the squared circle with reality TV personality and mixed martial artist Aaron Chalmers. Fighting out of Newcastle, England,  Chalmers earned three victories under the BAMMA banner in 2017 before signing with Bellator MMA. In four appearances for the promotion between 2018 and 2020, Chalmers went 2-2 with wins over Ash Griffiths and Fred Freeman. In 2022, Chalmers make his debut in the squared circle, earning a decision victory over Alexander Zeledon.

Round 1

Floyd Mayweather was in clear control of the first round, landing solid strikes at will and defending, but Chalmers offered very little in the way of offense against the boxing legend as Mayweather closed the round with a solid uppercut  followed by a stiff jab.

Round 2

Round two saw Mayweather start to have a little fun, smiling and dancing around the squared circle. Chalmers was a walking punching bag with Mayweather once again landing at any moment he chose. Footwork as usual was on point for Mayweather as Chalmers looked completely, and understandably out of his element, whatever that may be.

Round 3

Chalmers put on some pressure in the third round as Mayweather defended with ease. A solid jab by Mayweather was followed by a 1-2-3 combination that landed cleanly. Chalmers backed Mayweather to the ropes, but the speed and footwork of ‘Money’ left Chalmers hitting nothing, but air when he did take the time to swing.

Round 4

Chalmers showing good head movement in the fourth round as Mayweather offers some feints and is essentially playing with his food. Mayweather ripped to the body. Chalmers responds by pressuring Mayweather into the corner, but ‘Money’ sticks and moves, landing a straight right as the bell sounds in the fourth round.

Round 5

Floyd Mayweather opens the fifth round with a stiff jab that snapped the head back of Chalmers. Mayweather lands a big right hand followed by a left hook. ‘Money’ again rips to the body with an uppercut. Clearly getting bored, Mayweather began speaking to the camera man before having a little fun with the ring card girl.

Round 6

In between rounds, Mayweather begins dancing with the ring card girl. Clearly having a good time, ‘Money’ continued his dominance through the final two minutes of the round, peppering Chalmers with lighting fast jabs. Chalmers offered little offense, looking to simply ride out the ride. Perhaps he thought it was the final round of the bout, as did the commentators, but that was not the case. Both fighters came out for a seventh round much to the surprise of the broadcast team.

Round 7

Chalmers came out swinging heavy, looking to make up for lost time. Mayweather moved in and delivered an uppercut to the body that inspires Chalmers to move backward. Mayweather began targeting the body with his jabs. Right hand landed clean for ‘Money’ followed by another jab to the midsection of Chalmers.

Round 8

Floyd Mayweather takes a moment to speak to the crowd while sitting atop his corner. Coming out for the eighth and final round, ‘Money’ hangs by the ropes and delivers a lightning fast jab. Chalmers attempts to respond with a flurry, but is unable to connect as Mayweather masterfully evades everything thrown at him. Nasty right hand landed for Mayweather and that puts a smile on his face. Back-to-back jabs catches Chalmers

Official Result: Floyd Mayweather and Aaron Chalmers fight to a eigh-round draw.
