Drake just lost a staggering $565K for betting on Tyson Fury to beat Oleksandr Usyk.
Another wrong bet by Drake
Drake has gained reputation for wagering lump sums of money on his favorite fighters in massive combat sports events. His most recent bet was a whopping $565K on Fury to defeat Usyk in the pair’s undisputed heavyweight title fight.

Unfortunately for the Canadian rapper, Usyk got the better of “The Gypsy King” to secure a split decision win after 12 rounds of thrilling action inside the ring. The Ukrainian then became the world’s undisputed heavyweight champion. That said, Drake had just lost over half a million dollars on that fight.

The curse is officially back
The Fury fight was Drake’s third consecutive loss in his high-stakes sports betting. Prior to this, Drake lost $615K after backing Francis Ngannou to beat Anthony Joshua. Earlier this year, the rapper also blew $700K after betting on Sean Strickland to defeat Dricus du Plessis at UFC 297.
As expected, fans concluded that the so-called “Drake Curse” is officially back. With a wide array of blockbuster UFC events and boxing matches lined up, it would be no surprise if Drake returns to make another insane bet.
