It hasn’t been a month since Usyk and “The Gypsy King” went toe-to-toe for the undisputed heavyweight title and the pair is already booked for a rematch. As confirmed by Turki Alalshikh, Usyk vs. Fury rematch will take place on Dec. 21 in Riyadh.

“The rematch between the Undisputed Champion Oleksandr Usyk and the Champion Tyson Fury is now scheduled on the 21 of December 2024 during Riyadh Season…The world will watch another historical fight again…Our commitment to boxing fans continues…We hope you enjoy it…🥊🔥,” he wrote.

Battle of the greatest

It can be recalled that Fury came in as an undefeated champion in the first bout but Usyk put an end to his flawless run with a decision win. Many have considered “The Gypsy King” as the greatest heavyweight boxer in the world and he will have a chance to prove it once again when he takes on his Ukrainian rival.

On the other hand, Usyk cemented his name as the undisputed heavyweight champion after snagging the victory with an impressive performance. However, Fury came up with a theory that he Usyk must have gotten the decision because people sympathized with him and his country that is currently at war.

Usyk is now set to defend his IBF, IBO, WBC, WBO and WBA titles in the rematch with Fury to finally silence his doubters. More updates about Usyk vs. Fury II could be underway.
