Former longtime UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson suggests that Logan Paul should go for a knockout win over Dillon Danis. However, he also confided that he is backing “El Jefe” to beat the YouTube star.

Logan should do it for his fiancé

Speaking on the Mighty Gaming podcast, Johnson flat-out said that there is no better way to make Danis pay for dragging his fiancé, Nina Agdal into their feud, than a KO finish.

“I think he’s got to finish him,” Johnson said. “He’s got to finish him to make him pay for what he said about his fiance on social media.”

Mighty Mouse wants MMA guys to succeed

Danis has yet to accomplish greatness in MMA, having fought only twice professionally under the Bellator banner. Nevertheless, Johnson admitted that he still roots for Danis to win as he always wants his fellow MMA guys to succeed in any endeavor outside MMA.

“I think the biggest thing too about it is that we’re so invested because Dillon is one of me. He is in mixed martial arts, he comes from that background,” Johnson explained. “He’s a martial artist too. Logan Paul, he is an entertainer right, he’s an amazing wrestler. I love watching him do WWE and he’s also transition into that YouTube boxing but at the end of the day, I am rooting for Dillon Danis just because he comes from the same lineage of Jiu-Jitsu and mixed martial arts and I always want to see the MMA guys succeed in making a lot of money and doing something else besides [MMA].”

Danis and Paul have been trading insults for weeks. They will finally get to settle their bad blood when they face each other inside the ring on October 14.

Paul is making his boxing return with his last fight taking place in June 2021 when he took on Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition match. On the other hand, Danis is coming in to make his boxing debut.
