The 2023 Sheru Classic Italy Pro bodybuilding competition took place on Sunday, June 25, 2023, in the vibrant city of Milan, Italy. This incredible event lit up the stage with three divisions: Classic Physique, Men’s Physique, and Bikini, and, it was a showstopper! Not only did these phenomenal athletes put on a jaw-dropping display, but they also secured their golden tickets to the highly anticipated 2023 Mr. Olympia in Orlando, FL, from November 2nd to 5th.
This year, there have been significant changes to the Olympia qualification system. Athletes who did not place in the top three in the previous year or top five in Men’s Open will now need to win a show in order to qualify. The previous points qualification system has been eliminated. Additionally, former winners of an Olympia title now enjoy lifetime eligibility, granting them the opportunity to compete in the event indefinitely.

Laszlo Kiraly, hailing from Hungary, made his highly anticipated appearance in the 2023 season at the event in Milan. Prior to this, Kiraly had already made a name for himself by winning the 2020 Arnold Classic UK and securing a commendable sixth-place finish in the 2022 edition of the same contest.
At the recent Sheru Classic Italy Pro, Kiraly may have gone unnoticed by some, but the judges saw his true potential. With unanimous first-place votes, he emerged as the undisputed winner, leaving no doubt about his superiority. This remarkable victory not only solidifies his spot in Olympia but also marks his second qualification for the prestigious event. Should he choose to compete in November 2023, it will be an eagerly awaited Olympia debut for Kiraly.
Let’s not forget about the electrifying Sidy Pouye. This rising star had been making waves in other major competitions like the 2023 New York Pro and the 2023 Pittsburgh Pro, and it was just a matter of time before he claimed his moment in the Men’s Physique division. And claim it, he did! Pouye soared to victory at the Sheru Classic Italy Pro, stealing the show with his remarkable physique and undeniable stage presence. While he’s yet to compete at the Olympia, there’s no doubt that his star will shine brightly on that grand stage.
Last but certainly not least, we have the unstoppable force that is Zsofia Reka Molnar. This fierce competitor had already punched her ticket to Olympia by winning the Tropicarium Budapest Pro. But guess what? Molnar wasn’t satisfied with just one victory this season. She brought her A-game to the 2023 Sheru Classic Italy Pro’s Bikini division and left the competition in her wake, securing another well-deserved win. Molnar’s recent triumph marks her third professional victory in the 2023 season, following her earlier success in the 2023 Fitness Authority Poland Pro. As for the runners-up, Anna Setla and Priscilla Leimbacher, they’ll need to put on their game faces and conquer future pro shows if they want to join Molnar on that prestigious Olympia stage in November.
