August 27, 2023 – After an 11-year break, the illustrious Masters Olympia has triumphantly returned this weekend in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Hosted at the BT Arena, this event celebrated bodybuilding’s finest, with winners from all ten divisions now announced.
In a riveting contest that saw a blend of rising stars and seasoned veterans, the 2023 Masters Olympia victors have been crowned. Kamal Elgargni wins the Masters Olympia 2023 as he secured the top spot in Men’s Open, with Hidetada Yamagishi and Alejandro Cambronero reigning supreme in 212 Bodybuilding and Classic Physique, respectively. Arya Saffaie dazzled in Men’s Physique, while Reshanna Boswell and Ivie Rhein clinched the Women’s Bodybuilding and Women’s Physique titles. The Figure, Fitness, Bikini, and Wellness titles went to Jessica Padilla Reyes, Minna Pajulahti, Jessica Wilson, and Nerilde Garcia, in that order.
Historically, the Masters Olympia has been a platform for the giants of bodybuilding to reunite and relive their triumphant moments. The event took a pause after 2012 when Dexter Jackson clinched the title. His absence this year created an opportunity for new legends to emerge and be recognized.
