Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship is bringing the heat this December when former UFC stars ‘Platinum’ Mike Perry and Eddie Alvarez knuckle up inside the squared circle.

Emanating from the Maverik Center in Salt Lake City, BKFC 56 will deliver another stacked night of bare-knuckle action as the promotion’s top star, Mike Perry is set to toe-the-line with former UFC lightweight world champion Eddie Alvarez in a can’t-miss main event. BKFC president David Feldman made the announcement on Wednesday during an appearance on The MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani.

Eddie Alvarez made his BKFC debut in April, facing another ex-UFC standout, Chad Mendes. Both fighters scored knockdowns in the closely-contest matchup, but in the end, Alvarez walked away the winner, escaping with a razor-thin split decision victory.

Mike Perry, on the other hand, has become the BKFC’s biggest star in recent years after earning three straight victories over Julian ‘Let Me Bang Bro’ Lane, Bellator star Michael ‘Venom’ Page, and former UFC middleweight titleholder Luke Rockhold.

Former UFC Heavyweight ‘Big’ Ben Rothwell Returns to the BKFC Ring on December 2

In the co-main event of the evening, Ben Rothwell will look to make it three straight under the BKFC banner as he welcomes Todd Duffee to the ring. Amassing a 9-4 record in mixed martial arts, Duffee last competed in February at KSW 78.

The event will also host three epic world title fights, including the return of BKFC flyweight women’s champion Christine Ferea who puts her gold on the line against fan favorite ‘Rowdy’ Bec Rawlings. The bout will serve as a rematch following their meeting at BKFC 41 in April. On that night, Rawlings came up short, suffering a TKO in the second round due to a doctor’s stoppage.

Ferea rides into the contest on a five-fight win streak, including victories over BKFC darlings Taylor Starling and Britain Hart

Elsewhere, Arnold Adams and Mick Terrill will compete for the vacant heavyweight title while Kai Stewart will look to defend his featherweight championship against streaking knockout artist Howard Davis.
