BKFC KnuckleMania IV featured a heavyweight clash between two ex-UFC stars at ‘Big’ Ben Rothwell returned to the squared circle for a clash with knockout artist Todd Duffee.
Scoring back-to-back KOs against Bobo O’Bannon and Josh Copeland in his first two appearances with the promotion, Rothwell looks to move one step closer to a BKFC heavyweight title opportunity. Duffee hoped to spoil Rothwell’s plans in his highly anticipated bare-knuckle debut after putting together a 3-2 run inside the Octagon.
Round 1
Rothwell comes off the line immediately stalking forward and catches Duffee early with a counter right hand that sends his opponent to the canvas. Duffee answers the referee’s count and moves in, but Duffee almost immediately drops back to the ground after an awkward exchange where no significant strikes were landed.
Duffee confirmed with referee Dan Miragliotta that he was done, indicating an issue with his shoulder. As a result, the fight was called off due to injury.
Official Result: Ben Rothwell def. Todd Duffee via TKO (shoulder injury) at 0:43 of Round 1.

Duffee is a mental midget just like he was only bought an MMA. He wanted absolutely nothing to do with Big Ben Rothwell. Literally quit! 🤣 #BKFC #KnucklemaniaIV pic.twitter.com/e1GRn4D516
