‘Platinum’ handily dispatched Rockhold in the second round as the latter took out his mouthpiece and quit. He then faced off with 'Notorious' in his victory celebrations.

Former UFC champion Luke Rockhold made his bare-knuckle boxing debut against Mike Perry in the headlining bout of BKFC 41.

Round 1

Perry movies forward and gets a left hand in. He’s pressuring heavy. Rockhold clinches. He lands a left hand. Perry lands a right hand. Perry with a right hand on the belt. Perry walks forward but doesn’t land. Rockhold clinches. Big left hand from Rockhold rocks Perry and another one before clinching. Nice stiff jab from Perry rocks Rockhold. Huge left hand from Rockhold and another big left. Perry still coming forward.

Round 2

Rockhold with a double jab. Perry gets a straight left through. Luke goes too the body and slips down. Nice left hand from Rockhold. Perry fires a right hand back. He goes to the body with two shots. Perry to the body with multiple hooks. Rockhold clinches. Rockhold takes out his mouthpiece and quits.

 

Official Result: Mike Perry defeats Luke Rockhold by TKO (R2, 1:15).
