Former UFC competitors Joey Beltran and Houston Alexander met inside Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship’s squared circle on Friday night.
Meeting once before under the Xtreme Fight Night banner in 2010, Beltran scored a TKO victory. At BKFC 33, it would be Alexander who would come out on top. As seen in the video clip below, Alexander landed a clean left that encouraged Beltran to back up. Smelling blood in the water, Alexander moved in landing another left followed by a big right. With Beltran on the ropes, Alexander unloaded a barrage of strikes prompting Beltran to turn his back forcing the referee to step in and call for the stoppage.

Houston Alexander Finds Success in the Squared Circle
Houston Alexander is a mixed martial arts veteran with more than 20 years of experience in the world of combat sports. Fighting in both the UFC and Bellator, Alexander has shared the cage with notable talents Thiago Silva, Jan Blachowicz, and the late Kimbo Slice. After dropping six of his last seven MMA bouts between 2015 and 2017, Alexander took some time away from competition before venturing into the world of bare-knuckle boxing.
Since signing with BKFC in 2021, Houston Alexander has gone 3-0 with wins over Wes Combs, Jay Fish, and the aforementioned Beltran.
Joey Beltran followed a similar path, signing with BKFC after more than 10 years of competing in some of the biggest MMA organizations in the world. Making his bare-knuckle debut at BKFC’s inaugural event, Beltran went 5-1 before dropping his last three bouts.
Beltran’s wife Britain Hart Beltran is also a competitor in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. She currently reigns as the promotion’s women’s flyweight champion.
