Joey Beltran was on the wrong end of a brutal fight finish during a recent BKFC event.

A few hours before BKFC’s Fort Lauderdale event, Beltran nearly choked to death during breakfast and had to be saved by BKFC President David Feldman.

Beltran, the former BKFC Heavyweight Champion, took on Frank Tate in Fort Lauderdale. Beltran was hoping to rebound after losing the championship to Arnold Adams back in Nov. 2021. Things didn’t go “The Mexicutioner’s” way.

Joey Beltran Knocked Out Cold

The official Instagram account of BKFC has posted Frank Tate’s vicious knockout over Joey Beltran and you can watch it below:

There was initially some concern over Beltran’s health as his head bounced off the mat hard. Fortunately, he was responsive and walked out of the cage of his own power.

With the victory, Tate improves his BKFC record to 2-1. As for Beltran, he now falls to 5-3-1 and finds himself in a two-fight skid.
