Jan Blachowicz has predicted the winner of the UFC 281 main event between Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira.
UFC 281 fight week has arrived, and the bad blood between ‘The Last Stylebender’ and ‘Poatan’ will soon be settled. The MMA community seems divided in its predictions. Pereira has beaten Adesanya twice in kickboxing, but the middleweight champion’s MMA experience could be the difference maker.

In an interview with James Lynch of MiddleEasy, Jan Blachowicz made the following prediction regarding the main event of UFC 281.
“I will watch this fight for sure. It’s a very interesting fight, but I think Israel is gonna win the fight, and I’m still gonna be the one who beat him… I think decision. Decision for him. Pereira is tough, he’s very strong. I know that he beat him twice in K1, but K1 is not MMA. Izzy is just tricky, too fast, and he gonna win by points. This is my opinion about this fight.”
Adesanya is committed to destroying the middleweight division in the UFC, while Blachowicz is striving to earn a title shot at light heavyweight. The number two ranked light heavyweight is taking on Magomed Ankalaev at UFC 282, with Jiri Prochazka vs. Glover Teixeira 2 as the main event.

Jan Blachowicz reacts to Jake Paul defeating Anderson Silva
Jake Paul surprised some people by beating MMA legend Anderson Silva in a professional boxing fight. ‘The Problem Child’ also managed to knock down ‘The Spider’ in the eighth round. During the same interview with MiddleEasy, Jan Blachowicz was asked about Paul vs. Silva and responded with:
“I just see the knockdown. I don’t watch it. Jake Paul, he’s not only YouTuber. He is very good boxer. I saw his training sessions and stuff like this… Silva, he’s not a boxer, so I think, okay, and how old is Silva? 47, something like this. I knew something like this could happen, you know? I wasn’t surprised that Silva lost the fight.”
Paul’s performance against Silva received many reactions similar to Blachowicz’s. The record of Jake Paul now stands at 6-0, with notable victories over Silva, Tyron Woodley (twice), and Ben Askren. The next opponent for Paul will likely be Nate Diaz, who provoked a fight with Paul’s entourage backstage prior to the Silva fight.
