Watch: Alexander Emelianenko KO’s Gabriel Gonzaga At RCC 2 In Russia

Legendary Russian MMA fighter Alexander Emelianenko scores a knockout win over former UFC heavyweight contender Gabriel Gonzaga earlier today (Sat., May 5, 2018) at Russian Cagefighting Championship 2 event (RCC 2) from KRK Uralets Arena in Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk, Russia.

Gonzaga, who announced his retirement from MMA, after suffering a first-round knockout loss to Derrick Lewis at UFC Fight Night 86 in April 2016, returned today to make his first professional appearance.

Alexander’s win took little longer than his brother Fedor’s victory who just needed just 48 seconds to knock out Frank Mir last weekend at Bellator 198.

After spending most of the first round on his back, Russian exploded back in the second round, unloading a plethora of punches on Gonzaga, followed by a flush knee that sent Gonzaga on the canvas before the referee stopped the action.

Emelianenko extends his current winning streak to four in a row.
