Terrance McKinney mocked Paddy Pimblett for his divisive win over Jared Gordon at UFC 282.

English sensation Pimblett made his way to the UFC as one of the most hyped prospects in 2021. The former Cage Warriors featherweight champion had already amassed a sizeable following and received major backing as a potential future champion. He got off to a successful start under the banner, knocking out Luigi Vendramini in the first round on his promotional debut.

Pimblett extended his winning run to three before clashing against Gordon last weekend at the final pay-per-view of the year. Gordon had him hurt early in the bout but Pimblett recovered quickly and got the nod on the judges’ scorecards by unanimous decisions. Following the result, fans and fighters expressed their disapproval of the judging and argued Gordon did more to win.

In a recent interview with The Schmo, UFC lightweight Terrance McKinney shared his thoughts on Pimblett’s latest win over Gordon.

“Yeah, I like the way he defends the punches with his chins. The dude is incredible. Look how powerful that chin is. I think it probably hurt Jared’s fist. Straight up, I have to give him his credit. He’s excellent at taking punches, very skilled.”

McKinney called out Pimblett for a fight

’T.Wrecks’ has developed a reputation for putting on exciting shows for the fans. In 17 professional mixed martial bouts, McKinney has a record of 13-4 with not a single decision result on his resume. He issued a callout of the 27-year-old Scouser to compete against him sometime next year.

“I think the clash has to happen, you guys. 2023, Terrance McKinney versus Paddy ‘The Saddy’ after I whoop his a**.”

Terrance McKinney is scheduled to face Ismael Bonfim on Jan. 21 in the promotion’s return to Brazil for UFC 283.
