Renato Moicano shared some of the things he learned about managing the money he is earning and has verbally agreed to do The Ultimate Fighter with Paddy Pimblett.

A money lesson from Renato

Speaking to The MMA Hour, Moicano explained why he shouted out Ludwig Von Mises and the 6 Lessons of the Austrian School of Economics in his UFC 300 Octagon interview. According to the Brazilian, the book has enlightened him about how to save his money from inflation and he wants others to learn about it as well.

“A lot of people talk to me about money. But, the problem is, it’s not about how much money you get, it’s about how much money you can keep,” Moicano began.

“On this book, he explained what the government does what your money with taxes and the way they break out of debt… let’s say I make the 300K now of the bonus one year from now I cannot buy the same things with the 300K I will I will need more money,” he explained.

“The whole point of capitalism is getting money right and what’s the point of you getting money if you cannot keep your money safe from inflation? so I’m very worried about that… If you see the numbers of how much government is spending on like on health care and welfare, that’s a lot because I know some people are struggling and they are on a bad place but the government wants that, they wants people in bad places so they can make the money, can keep the cycle of poverty,” he pointed out.

“Try to understand about money and what government is doing with your money and how they are taxing you with inflation. That’s very important. that’s why you have to understand about about Bitcoin economics and money,” he concluded.

Moicano’s compelling Octagon moment appears to have made waves on the internet. In fact, renowned psychologist and author Dr. Jordan B. Peterson even reposted in on social media.

TUF Paddy vs. Moicano sounds good

Pimblett and Moicano have been going back and forth for quite some time now. “The Baddy” has remained interested in facing Moicano and as expected, the Brazilian feels the same way. In fact, Moicano is even open to doing TUF with Pimblett.

“He said he want to do maybe The Ultimate Fighter: Moicano against Paddy, I would not be against that. I think that would be very very very funny so I’m not gonna talk too much sh*t about him but if he wants the smoke, I’m gonna make easy f**king money brother, I know you being nice, I know all that sh*t but don’t forget: Moicano wants money. In God we trust. All the others pay in cash, motherf**ker,” Moicano said.

No problem with UFC 301

UFC 301 will take place in Brazil on May 4. Despite being fresh off a TKO win over Jalin Turner at UFC 300, Moicano said he is down to fight at UFC 301 if the opponent and price is right.

Moicano also added that he still has three fights left in his current UFC deal and he wants to renegotiate.

“Guess what UFC, if you have the right opponent I fight in Brazil for sure. I want to fight as much as possible and I want to get to the top of the division and I want a new contract you know I want money,” Moicano said.

Moicano is now on a three-fight winning streak. The win over Turner saw him breaking into the lightweight’s Top 10.
