Sabatini slips a jab and goes to grapple. He pins Almeida off the fence and tries to trip him down. Sabatini uses his knee to shake up Almeida and gets him down. Almeida works his way back to the fence to make it easier to get up but struggles. Sabatini retains position strongly and is not giving an inch. He keeps him in half guard and holds Almeida down. Sabatini peppers him with light shots to the face. Almeida tries to move up and gets smothered by Sabatini. Sabatini gets full mount and rains down punches. He has Almeida’s arm trapped. Big shots from Sabatini. Nice elbow from Sabatini and another one. Sabatini rains down slicing elbows from full mount and punishing punches. Almeida holding on desperately. Sabatini continues his onslaught with more elbows and punches.
Round 2
Almeida with a low kick. Sabatini goes for a single leg and pins Almeida against the cage. Sabatini going for an outside trip again. Sabatini with high grappling pressure. Sabatini trips him down and gets the takedown. Sabatini gets Almeida in an arm triangle and gets the tap.
