UFC president Dana White flames the NFL for turning down a potential partnership with Nelk Boys.

Dana White is one of the leading forces in the world of sports and entertainment and is widely credited for pioneering the business side of mixed martial arts with the UFC, the most elite MMA promotion in the world. After purchasing the company for $2 million with his friends Lorenzo and Frank Fertitta, he managed to turn the tanking business into a lucrative brand that sold for $4.025 billion in 2016.

White further helped legitimize the sport and break it into the mainstream after signing a seven-year deal with the renowned cable sports channel ESPN.

Dana White bashes NFL for refusing Nelk Boys partnership

In a recent TikTok uploaded by the Nelk Boys, Dana White fired shots at the NHL for turning down the chance to partner with the group. He bashed the NHL for being out of touch with their younger audience and compared their online viewership with that of Power Slap.

“If Nelk Boys is involved we don’t want anything to do with it. We’re too edgy,” said Kyle Forgeard of Nelk Boys.

“F**k ‘em. They’re all old dumb f**king people that have no idea what’s going on,” said White. “They have no idea where this younger generation is, how you reach them, any of that sh*t. Total video views for the NHL, the middle of their conference finals, they did 25 million video views. Power Slap did 90 million.”

Earlier this month, White claimed Power Slap outshined other sporting competitors like the NHL and NBA’s most popular games lately. He reported Power Slap’s numbers reached nearly 2 million viewers and earned 4 billion impressions.

White struck a solid partnership with the Nelk Boys for the UFC

Nelk Boys are one of the fastest-growing internet sensations. They have skyrocketed in popularity over the last two years with their youth-centered content, including pranks and a podcast. White got the UFC to partner with the group to focus on the younger market and even launched a joint merchandise line. In Jul. 2022, he gifted Kyle $250,000 in cash for his birthday, which rubbed some people the wrong way.

White defended his alliance with the group while bashing the NHL’s decision.

“So all these people that are talking sh*t out there… it’s all old dumb f**king journalists. NHL don’t want the Nelk Boys. No problem, I got ‘em.”

Former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold took aim at UFC’s partnership with the Nelk Boys in Aug. 2022. However, Dana White isn’t concerned and appears to be content with the collaboration.
