Brendan Loughnane went into the bout looking to extend his win streak against the wrestling-proficient Bubba Jenkins at the 2022 PFL Championship.

Round 1

Jenkins with a high kick. Jenkins goes for a takedown. Loughnane with an outside leg kick. Another calf kick by Loughnane. Jenkins fires a low kick back. Jenkins gets a jab through. An inside leg kick by Jenkins. Loughnae with good head movement to dodge the double jab. Jenkins gets a straight through. Nice right hook by Jenkins followed by a takedown attempt. He has Loughnane off the fence. Jenkins has a single leg and keeps him pressed up against the cage. Loughnane gets out. Loughnane with an outside low kick. Jenkins peppers in two jabs. Loughnane with more leg kicks and eats a right hook. Loughnane with another leg kick. Short right hook from Loughnane. Jenkins with a big left hook.a

Round 2

Jenkins opens with a jab. Loughnane keeping his distance and eats two quick jabs. Jenkins swings wild and misses. Loughnane with a good combination. Loughnane with an outside low kick and a sharp jab. Constant movement from Loughnane. Hard low kick by Loughnane. Another hard low kick by Loughnane. Jenkins is now reaching with his punches. Jenkins goes for a takedown and gets him off the cage. Loughnane gets out and gets back to the middle. Loughnane fires a strong low kick. Jenkins with a shot to the body. Another calf kick by Loughnane. Jenkins tries one back. Another low kick by Loughnane. Body kick from Jenkins and then one to the thigh. Loughnane with a kick to the calf and jab, left hook combo. Stinging jab from Loughnane. Kick to the groin by Loughnane calls for a time out with 7 seconds on the clock.

Round 3

Jenkins grazes with a jab. Heavy 1-2 punch attempt from Jenkins. Outside leg kick by Jenkins. Jenkins with a jab and straight left. Uppercut from Jenkins gets through. Nice combination on the guard and inside leg kick from Loughnane. Jab for Jenkins. Strong leg kick by Loughnane. Another kick to the calf of Jenkins. Big right hook from Loughnane. Jenkins gets a big jab through and another right hand. Jenkins goes for a takedown and has Loughnane against the cage. Quick double jab from Jenkins. Loughnane chopping away at his legs. Good 1-2 combination followed by calf kick from Loughnane. Big straight hand and cross for Loughnane. He has Jenkinns in trouble. A flurry of punches from Loughnane and a knee. Jenkins powers through the attack.

Round 4

Jenkins goes in with a jab. Loughnane opens with two inside leg kicks. Jenkins with a strong jab. Jenkins with an outside calf kick. Jenkins catches a kick and shoots for a takedown. Loughnane defends and gets back to the middle. Right hook from Jenkins. Loughnane continues his assault on Bubba’s legs. Jenkins gets a big left through. Loughnane strikes Jenkins with a nice combo and a right to end it. Nice right on the chin from Jenkins. Loughnane drops Jenkins with a heavy right hand and finishes him with a barrage of strikes.
