I’ve been staring at this article for nearly an hour now, trying to find a new way to talk about a guy we’ve discussed on MiddleEasy for 5 years. We’ve made the mustache jokes, endlessly talked about his fight against Takiyama in Pride FC, even brought up his statement regarding Russians from an episode of Inside MMA back in 2008. There’s just nothing really left to say about Don Frye. He’s doing a little acting whenever he can get it here in Hollywood, but that’s really it. We’ve been in this MMA game for far too long. Anything we could say about Frye has already been said by us.
Could this mean that Don Frye is losing his appeal or we’re just getting entirely too jaded about the MMA scene? One of those are correct, and the fact that I turned down a cage-side media pass to UFC 168 this weekend should tell you something.
