Now this Saturday you can use your Facebook account for something other than stalking the girl you had a crush on in high-school. The UFC has announced that if you ‘Like’ their UFC Fan Facebook Page prior to ‘UFC Fight for the Troops 2’, then you will be awarded with a live stream of the event on Facebook. I’m not sure what amount of technology will be streamed onto your monitor this weekend, but it appears that this may be a first for Facebook. At the time of writing this, the UFC Fan Facebook Page has a total of 4,537,970 fans, significantly higher than the amount of fans the MiddleEasy Fan Facebook Page has, and some of you guys need to fix that. 4,000,000 of you, at least.
The preliminaries of UFC Fight for the Troops 2 streamed on Facebook will feature Cody McKenzie vs. Yves Edwards and of course, writer at MiddleEasy.com, Damarques Johnson vs. Mike “The Joker” Guymon. At least everyone on Facebook will be able to see the giant MiddleEasy logo on DaMarques Johnson’s shorts, which will hopefully grab us a few more Facebook followers. It’s one giant loop of internet popularity, and if the MiddleEasy Fan Facebook Page doesn’t get a million fans by the end of this week, the terrorists will win.
