We’re only a few day’s away from King Mo’s return to MMA after just over an entire year away from fighting. During that time, he endured a barrage of negative attention stemming from a positive drug test (for Drostanolone) and suffered from a staph infection that almost ended his life. Luckily, 2012 is over, and 2013 appears to be a new beginning for the former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion. We’re happy for King Mo and hope he does well in Bellator, but not before we post this footage of Jeff Mayweather slapping him silly during training. After this, we can just be happy for him the way everyone else is happy for someone. Not sure what that entails, we don’t live conventional lives and celebrate things entirely the same way the rest of you do.
