Watch: Brett Johns Finishes Joe Soto Via Rare Calf Slicer Submission

Its a submission filled-night at The Ultimate Fighter 26 (TUF 26) Finale from the Park Theatre Las Vegas. Three preliminary card fights ended in first-round armbars, and the opening fight of the main card saw a rare calf submission pulled off in exceptionally quick time.

UFC bantamweight contender Brett Johns attempted to top all of them when he met Joe Soto in the opening bout of tonight’s (Fri., December 1, 2017) The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 26 Finale.

Johns was quickly taken down by Soto, but seconds later, John locks up a rarely-seen calf slicer submission on Soto, who tapped with precisely 30 seconds elapsed in the opening round.

The other fighter in UFC history who scores a rare calf submission at UFC 218’s Charles Oliveira submitted Eric Wisely back in 2012.
