So 24 hours ago we told you War Machine was in jail, well according to Georgiafighters.com, he apparently still plans on fighting Tex Johnson on April 17th at Wild Bills in Georgia. That’s the same venue that hosted Junie Browning a couple of months back. Guess its more important for thier fighters to tote a wrap sheet than it is a sick over hand right. War Machine told Georiga fight promoter, David Oblas, that his arrest was “complete bullshit…” or if you’re like us and you’ve built a shrine to Wallid Ismail that would sound more like “complete booolshit”. Here’s War Machine’s account on what happened and why he was arrested:
“He said he did not have a gun, knife or any other concealed weapon on him at the time of the incident. He said that since he’s a professional fighter he was arrested because his fists are considered a concealed weapon. He claims that one of his friends got in a fight at a bar last night and a bunch of people jumped in. He jumped in to protect his friend and only punched one guy once. He said he was the only one that was arrested. He said: ‘It’s complete bullshit. I always get arrested cuz I’m War Machine.’
