Throughout my years of degenerately gambling on MMA, I’ve learned two things: Never bet against Fedor Emelianenko or Wanderlei Silva. If you do so, it’s an excellent way to set yourself up for scenario in which you will not be able to pay November’s rent. If only future Zeus would have informed Zeus circa Pride 28 of this, I would have not been forced to sell my turntables to a guy affectionately known as ‘Q-Ball.’ I lost a lot of money that day, but fortunately I didn’t lose my respect. Well, I lost that too. Moral of the story: Don’t have friends with hyphens in their names, and more importantly never bet against Wanderlei Silva. This morning on Twitter, Wanderlei Silva admitted that he ‘cried’ after UFC 132 and he feels ‘ashamed’ for losing. Look on the bright side, some dude named ‘Revenge Boss’ is about to get the beating of his life, and hopefully it’s not the end-level boss in Double Dragon 2 — because that guy cheats. [Source]
