Video: Relive Vitor Belfort knocking out Wanderlei Silva with Killer Instinct arcade sound effects

For this Throwback Thursday lets travel back to the space between when the Rare/Midway arcade classic Killer Instinct was released and UFC Brazil 1998 where Vitor Belfort machine gunned punched Wanderlei Silva. When the worlds of Killer Instinct and early UFC converge the result is roughly 1996 and this classic video game mash-up video.

In crowded coin-op marketplace, overshadowed by both Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat, for a brief moment in the mid 90s Killer Instinct ruled the fighting game mountain top. Then you have Belfort who always kind of played second fiddle to the stacked light heavyweight division weather he was in Pride or the UFC. After Belfort knocked out Silva silly, he too was briefly at the top of the MMA world.

But this is the Killer Instinct version of Belfort. 64-bits of muscle Belfort. Belfort in shoes! So watch 64-bit Killer Instinct Vitor Belfort in shoes clobber The Axe Murderer to the tune of a KI soundtrack and sound effects.

H/T to @JustBleedMMA for digging this video up
