Michael “Venom” Page is the real deal. He can robot, pop and lock while he is fighting and it just doesn’t make a damn. If there is one thing you can say, he is entertaining. Bellator finally put Page in the cage with the highest caliber opponent he’s fought yet and Page passed with flying colors. Page ended up knocking Cyborg out with a spectacular flying knee.
We even got to see Page in trouble a little bit due to Cyborg’s technical ground game, but on the feet he stood no chance. Page found him in the later rounds, soared to the rafters and landed probably one of the best knockouts of this year.

Afterwards, in infamous MVP fashion, he celebrated elaborately by donning a trainers hat and trying to catch Cyborg with a Poké Ball. I think it may be time for Page to challenge himself with the toughest gym leaders Bellator can find.
Obviously Page couldn’t have known this during his antics, but Cyborg ended up in bad shape after that vicious knee. Andreas Georgiou attended the event and informed everyone of the potentially serious injury caused by Page’s aerial brutality. Wow. Page is truly scary.
Let’s hope Cyborg has a quick recovery.
UPDATE: Cyborg is currently undergoing surgery on the potential skull fracture.

UPDATE: Cyborg did in fact receive a fractured skull but is still in good spirits. Here is a link to the GoFundMe if you’d like to donate to his medical costs.
