Video: BJ Penn is training for a comeback and Matt Hughes is helping him lift weights

Beer and hot dogs were BJ Penn’s old standbys when it came to training mixed martial arts. Penn also jumped out of swimming pools and ran underwater with oversized rocks because that helped him become a better MMA fighter. Bored in retirement Penn, now a UFC Hall of Famer, has teased a comeback to the cage.

If the UFC holds an event in Hawaii in 2016, will it feature a motivated BJ Penn somewhere on the card? According to this Instagram video Penn does not only looks motivated but he is also lifting weights. Tandem bike riding expert and fellow UFC HOFer Matt Hughes is also by Penn’s side as he works on his physical fitness. A motivated/physically fit/trained by Matt Hughes version of BJ Penn will win at the minimum three different UFC belts in 2016.
