The star of Brandon Vera is ready to touch down again at One: Spirit of Champions. A burning hulking mass of a MMA career, Vera’s second fight under the ONE Championship banner will be for the promotion’s inaugural heavyweight title. At 38 years of age this will likely be Vera’s finally crack at 26 pounds of MMA gold and a final f*$k you to his detractors.
Standing in the way of Vera’s swan song is six foot nine inch British kickboxer Chi Lewis Parry. The former basketball player turned intimidating heavyweight presence, Parry is unbeaten in MMA with six finishes of his opponents. At One: Spirit of Champions, ONE Championship will crown their first heavyweight title holder and both Vera as well as Parry will have the option to soccer kick each other in the face.
