Urijah Faber thinks Nick Diaz would win in a hypothetical match-up against GSP

No, ‘Urijah Faber’ isn’t code for ‘What LayzieTheSavage has been saying for years now.’ The California Kid actually believes that another California resident would defeat Georges St. Pierre in a hypothetical match-up to determine welterweight supremacy. Sure he may be bias, or he may sincerely believe that Nick Diaz can not only mean-mug the fight out of Georges, but that he has the punching style to wear down St. Pierre.

“I’m going to go with Nick Diaz on that one, just because I don’t see GSP knocking him out. He’s never been knocked out and GSP’s been more into wrestling guys. I think that from watching Diaz, he’s super, super deceiving, and is able to pressure guys and make them get tired and fatigued like no one else. It’s constant pressure, and he’s got that persistent punching style that wears guys down.”

Urijah Faber failed to mention that Nick Diaz’s ‘rhythm’ can easily be rolled in a shelled-out cigar and consumed through the lungs. Needless to say, I’m sure Eddie Bravo and Joe Rogan can ‘handle that rhythm.’ [Source]
