UFC Parted Ways With Punching Expert John Lineker!

John Lineker (31-9 MMA) competed in the UFC since 2012. He kicked off in 125-pound division but later moved to 135.

“Hands Of Stone” took part in 16 UFC bouts, where he set the score of 12 wins and 4 losses. The Brazilian destroyed Alp Ozkilic, Azamat Gashimov, Jose Maria Tome, Phil Harris, Michael McDonald, Brian Kelleher, and many others. Lineker scored 12 knockdowns in UFC matches.

But it seems John has reached the end of his UFC road. MMAJunkie was the first to report that the Brazilian punching expert and the former 135-pound Jungle Fight champ was released from the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Lineker last fought at UFC on ESPN+ 8, on April 27, 2019, where he lost to Cory Sandhagen via controversial split decision.

The Brazilian brawler was set to square off against Rob Font in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 154. Unfortunately, “Hands of Stone” pulled out of the match due to a facial laceration.

So what are your thoughts on this? Why did UFC part ways with John Lineker?
