The UFC 277 staredowns went down and one fighter unsurprisingly had the most memorable faceoff.
UFC 277 takes place Saturday night in Dallas as the headliner sees Julianna Pena defend her women’s bantamweight title in a rematch against Amanda Nunes.
The co-main event, meanwhile, sees Brandon Moreno battle Kai Kara-France for the interim flyweight title.
Texas native Derrick Lewis is also on the card as he collides with Sergei Pavlovich in a heavyweight encounter.
To hype the event further, the UFC 277 pre-fight press conference took place Thursday which was followed by the eventual staredowns.
The headliner saw an intense but respectful staredown between Pena and Nunes.

The co-headliner was more or less the same, but not as intense.

Derrick Lewis Scares Dana White
However, it was Lewis who had the most notable staredown.
As he was staring Pavlovich down, Lewis tried to punk the Russian by pretending to throw a punch. Pavlovich didn’t flinch, but UFC president Dana White certainly did.
It was all laughs afterward.
