Tony Ferguson (23-3 MMA, 13-1 UFC) was undefeated since UFC On Fox 3 on May 5, 2012. He submitted many of his opponents, including Kevin Lee, Edson Barboza, and Gleison Tibau. Ferguson even defeated Rafael dos Anjos via unanimous decision. Unfortunately, his fight versus Khabib Nurmagomedov was delayed an impressive four times!
Anthony Pettis (21-7 MMA, 7-6 UFC) defeated Michael Chiesa via triangle armbar at UFC 226. He had ups and downs in the last 8 fights – 3 wins and 5 losses. He was defeated to Edson Barboza, Eddie Alvarez, Rafael dos Anjos, and Max Holloway. But Showtime is in a great shape at the moment, everything is possible.
UFC 229 is set at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on October 6th. Anthony Pettis is a kicking specialist and very fast striker. Tony Ferguson is known as a submission legend and ground and pound expert. These are two completely different types of fighters. Who is your favorite?
