Tito Ortiz would happily fight the winner of Shogun Rua and Forrest Griffin

I’m not up on my American history so I might have to re-watch Deadliest Warrior to check, but I don’t think any Native American has ever executed a guillotine choke, especially not the last of the Mohicans. I don’t know if Tito Ortiz is still considering himself a Mohican or if this means he is the first of a new tribe. Either way, his KO/submission victory over Ryan Bader reminded the world that Tito Ortiz really is Tito Ortiz. At the UFC post-fight presser, Tito talked about who he wants to bang against next:

“I’d like to see Forrest Griffin, maybe the winner between him and (Mauricio) ‘Shogun’ Rua,” Ortiz said at the UFC 132 post-fight press conference. “I want to fight top guys. I want to fight guys with big names. I want to give fans what they want to see. I want the biggest fights in the world.”

While he may want a rubber match with Forrest, Tito Ortiz vs. Shogun Rua could bring out the endless PRIDE vs. UFC arguments on The UG which should make MMA bookmakers gleefully rub their hands together long enough until they create a new form of renewable energy. [Source]
