People can consider this Max Fight 11 bout that took place in Brazil this past weekend against Gerônimo Mondragon vs. Rodrigo Mamute as Brazil’s incarnation of Pat Barry vs. Cheick Kongo from UFC Live last year. You guys probably remember Mondragon from that Australian Impact FC show back in 2010. He fought against Josh Barnett for a Strikeforce contract, and judging by the finals of the upcoming Heavyweight Grand-Prix, we all know who won that bout. Since then, Mondragon dos Santos has gone 11-2 in his MMA career, finishing every fight — including a first round knockout against the infamously gargantuan Zuluzinho.
