If there are two things I love in life it’s animals and Mirko Cro Cop. I remember during my college schooling career, I ended up carrying around a Croatian flag for a week. To some people this may sound weird, to me it was known was “Cro Cop week.” Needless to say, I’d often get asked what in the world I was doing, I’d nonchalantly just respond, “Mirko Cro Cop as if everyone in the known universe knew who Mirko Cro Cop is. In reality there’s no reason they don’t, he’s the man who single handily beat both Josh Barnett and Wanderlei Silva in the same night, if that’s not a feat to be known world wide, then I don’t know what is.
My love for Cro Cop is rivaled only by animals. I wouldn’t need more than one maybe two hands to count the human beings in my life that are even close to my cat Tardy in importance.
Which makes this next announcement that much more euphoric, Mirko Cro Cop and other Croatian fighters have teamed up with Choose Your Battles in an effort to stop animal abuse. Which resulted in a front runner for Photo of the year, with Mirko Cro Cop holding a rescue puppy making all of our hearts collectively melt.
