Thiago Santos On A Road To Recovery After Four Hours Of Surgery On Both Knees

UFC light heavyweight contender Thiago Santos recently posted on social media that his both knees are fixed after four hours of surgery.

“After 4 and a half hours of surgery ended and everything went well, now I will focus on my recovery to return as soon as possible. Always grateful to God and thank you all for positive energy and for caring. Tmj 🙏🏾👊🏽

After 4 hours of surgery, the drs say everything is fixed! Now my focus is on full recovery so I can get back in there better and stronger! “

Santos fought Jon Jones with injured knees in the main headliner of UFC 239 and almost upset “Bones” in their five-round showdown which went down earlier this month from Las Vegas.

Even the doctor had no scientific explanation on how Santos continued fighting Jones for five-round with injuries in both knees.

After moving to 205 pounds, Santos racked up three straight wins after that he earned his title shot against the lightweight champ.
