Stefan Struve and Tai Tuivasa collide in a heavyweight bout in the final prelim of UFC 254 as both fighters look to return to the win column.
Round 1
Tuivasa is pressuring early on and lands some leg kicks. Tuivasa clinches Struve up against the fence. They separate and return to striking. Struve partially lands a head kick but Tuivasa is unaffected. They clinch up again with Struve’s back against the fence. Tuivasa lands an elbow as they separate again. Tuivasa lands another few leg kicks. Struve partially lands a body kick but Tuivasa continues to advance forward.
Tuivasa lands another leg kick which seems to be affecting Struve now. They clinch again as Tuivasa lands big strikes which drop Struve. Struve is back to his feet but gets dropped again as he’s overwhelmed by Tuivasa who lands an uppercut to get the TKO win.
Official result: Tuivasa defeats Struve via first-round TKO (4:59).
