If we find out Stephen Thompson drinks his own urine I’m going to have to seriously reconsider some core things in my life. After hearing intriguing hype of this champion but untested in MMA Karate prodigy entering the UFC throughout the week, I wondered if this guy from South Carolina could ever live up to the talk. Well, Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson lived up to his nickname, the hype and then some. In the first fight of the night, Thompson just left the UFC cage 5-0 with an unforgettable head kick knockout over Dan Stittgen of Nordish features, and just made the welterweight division very interesting.
Wikipedia claims this guy has a stand-up fight record of 56 wins and 0 losses with 39 K.O.’s. This is awesome. American Ninja 2012. Mini Lyoto, I love it all.
