There is a bronze statue of Michael Jordan outside the United Center, and I have a feeling a smile has broke out on his face. It’s been over three years since the UFC has come to Chicago, now it’s back, being broadcast by Fox and the fans inside the Madhouse on Madison are going absolutely bonkers for Chael Sonnen. Either that or they hate Bisping that much. It could be that. It’s probably that.
But more importantly: Chael Sonnen Vs. Anderson Silva II is freaking going down sometime soon and that’s all that matters really matters in life right now. Anderson Silva is somewhere watching Fox as his wife prepares him a steak and he’s nodding solemnly at Chael Sonnen’s chest hair creating win over Michael Bisping. The mountain has been climbed, it’s almost like fate is bringing this together for all of us. I’m going to type it again because it feels so good.
