Sengoku and Dream confirmed as playable leagues in EA Sports MMA

When EA Sports MMA and UFC Undisputed 2010 finally drop, civilization will segregate into two categories. First there will be the camp of humanity that buys UFC Undisputed 2010 because the names may be more recognizable and it will appeal to the, as Joe Rogan put it, ‘The Casual Drunken Meatheads‘. There people will refuse to embrace the entirety of MMA and instead, will elect to buy into anything that’s sponsored by Bud Light. This camp of humanity will live underground in subterranean caves and be called Morlocks. The other branch of humanity will buy EA Sports MMA and UFC Undisputed 2010 because they are true MMA fans. They’ve stayed up until 6am watching a live event from Tokyo and have traveled a minimum of 5 hours just to attend an MMA event. These people will live above ground and be called the Eloi. At night, the Morlocks will prey on the Eloi until a time traveler interferes with the progression of humanity. Until then, check out this quote from the latest edition of The Official Playstation Magazine regarding Sengoku and Dream.

“Along with US based Strikeforce, Japanese companies Dream and Victory Road are now confirmed for EA’s rival to UFC:2010 Undisputed – taking it’s roster of fighters to 31. More soon.”

In just a few months, you will be able to turn on your Xbox 360 and stage your very own Sengoku vs. Dream Dynamite!! 2009 card complete with mind erasing knees and arm breaking action. Start getting excited people.

Update: Just got an email from EA Sports MMA and they wanted to let you know that no other league outside of Strikeforce has been confirmed. Apparently EA Sports is working with the writer to print a clarification.
