Sean Strickland may have gotten a little carried away when meeting up with a viral self-defense TikTok star recently. Strickland is one of the top-ranked middleweights in the UFC at this point in time, so his fighting credentials can’t be denied. He recently attended an event in Las Vegas at a gun store, where he met up with Detroit Urban Survival Training (D.U.S.T.) Dale Brown.

At the event, the pair engaged in some play fighting, where Dale began to showcase one of his famous self-defense techniques on the UFC middleweight. However, Strickland decided to start throwing some playful knees Dale’s way instead, knocking him backwards into a showcase filled with firearms.

Strickland looked immediately apologetic and attempted to try and start cleaning things up. Dale didn’t seem too bothered by the incident either. He posted the video of the incident on his Instagram along with the following caption.

“Well I will say that felt mildy uncomfortable but I think I should start a self defense program???? What should i call it??? last time I get invited to any events lol Thanks for having me.”

Currently, Strickland is the No. 7-ranked 185-pound fighter on the UFC’s roster. At one point, he was on a six-fight win streak before being stopped by Alex Pereira via a first-round KO this past summer. He followed that up with a split-decision loss to Jared Cannonier in December.

Strickland was able to bounce back with a unanimous decision victory over Nassourdine Imavov this past weekend. It will be interesting to see how his quest for middleweight gold continues moving forward.
