Former UFC champion Rose Namajunas is the newest Victoria’s Secret model.

There is a new face of Victoria’s Secret and that is the face of a former UFC champ. For years, Victoria’s Secret has been the leading company in women’s undergarments and lingerie. For many years the models that they used were sort of the typical model type that many people think of, tall and skinny. These “Angels” as they are called have been showcasing the lingerie for so long that they have become synonymous with the brand itself. However, recently the company has been trying to move away from these sorts of models representing the brand and going in a new direction.

Victoria’s Secret has been moving to use women who are more relatable to the public. They have been featuring athletes more often in ads and now are including a UFC fighter. Namajunas joins the likes of fellow athletes Meagan Rapinoe and Femita Ayanbeku in the “Undefinable” ad campaign.

According to Victoria’s Secret website, this new “Undefinable” campaign is to celebrate individuality. A role in which Namajunas fits well.

“For decades society and institutions – including ours – defined very narrow expressions that represented beauty, sexiness, and self-worth for women. The truth is the only person who can genuinely define a woman is herself. Our role is to leverage our brand to create opportunities for women everywhere to define themselves on their own terms and use our platform to recognize and celebrate the individuality and diversity over and over.”

“What makes trailblazer @rosenamajunas undefinable? Her passion to win—again and again (and again),” the ad reads.

Namajunas has quickly become one of the most popular athletes in the UFC. She made her debut on The Ultimate Fighter back in 2013 and worked her way up to the top. She won her first title in 2017 and her second in 2021. he tough exterior and impressive skills have made her popular with fight fans and now her reach in mainstream culture continues to grow.

There is no fight on the horizon for Namajunas as she is coming off a title loss to Carla Esparza. She remains at the top of the 115-pound division and could be a possibility to jump in to face the winner of Esparza vs. Zhang Weili following their bout at UFC 281 in New York City on November 12.
