One day in our life times, MMA fans will watch a man versus woman fight live on pay-per-view. Rose Namajunas probably won’t be involved. Justin Gaethje? Yeah that’s not happening either.
People will complain about a man and woman being locked cage, but everyone will watch. There will be hype and detractors but one day MMA will be desperate to try Gender Wars (!!!!).
When this happens, you already know MiddleEasy will be there in full force. Love MMA for what it is, not what you want it to be.
MMA is all about evolution. There will be a time where tag team MMA just isn’t enough to feed the blood lust. One on one fights, will be looked down on as gimmick matches, reserved for only special occasions.
You know where man vs. woman bouts happen every single day? MMA gyms. High level sparring is hard to come by for all genders. So why not sharpen your skills or mimic your opponent with a member of the opposite sex?
In a few weeks, Rose Namajunas puts her title UFC strawweight on the line versus Jéssica Andrade in Brazil. What better way to prep for an Andrade blitzkrieg than to get in a cage Justin Gaethje?
If you can dodge a wretch, you can dodge a ball. If you can spar with Gathje, you can pretty much doing anything else after going through that 100 yards of broken glass.
The thing is, MiddleEasy really wants video of Rose navigating a Gathje storm. Or Gathje dealing with speed of Thug Rose as he works on his defense.
Give us more videos of wild intergender sparring sessions. Do it for MiddleEasy, do it for the culture.
Rose Namajunas and Justin Gaethje are about to spar in Denver. Justin has been walking around as Rose warms up just repeating, “this is gonna hurt. This is gonna hurt.” Lol. pic.twitter.com/HRyeYCyPCP
